DHAKA, Dec 07, 2022 (BSS) - Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen today paid tribute to noted politician and top most senior member of Awami League (AL) Advisory Committee Dr SA Malek on behalf of Bangabandhu foundation as the president of the body.

Momen along with other leaders of the Foundation placed a floral wreath at the coffin of Dr Malek after attending the second namaz-e-janaza of the deceased held after Zohr prayer on Kalabagan field premises in the capital.

Dr S A Malek, a former member of parliament (MP) and political advisor to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also the President of Bangabandhu Parishad, died of a massive heart attack at a city hospital on Tuesday night at the age of 86.

Earlier, the foreign minister in a condolence message prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.
