DHAKA, Dec 07, 2022 (BSS) - President M Abdul Hamid today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of eminent freedom fighter Dr SA Malek, a member of the Awami League Advisory Council.

In condolence message, the Head of the State recalled with due respect his contribution to 1971 Liberation War and all democratic movements.

President Hamid said the death of SA Malek, prime minister's former political advisor and also former MP, is irreparable loss to the country.

The President prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his deepest sympathy to the bereaved family members.
