RANGPUR, Dec 6, 2022 (BSS) - Vice-Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) Professor Dr. Md. Hasibur Rashid today said youths should play their crucial role in advancing the world by establishing peace and unity.
 
"Youths should prioritize international as well as local issues and synchronize those in order to establish peace and unity," he said while addressing a seminar held at the university's cafeteria as the chief guest.
 
Save Youth Network and the Department of Political Science of BRUR jointly organized the seminar titled “Youth Empowerment for Peace and Resilience Building” for students of the university.
 
The Vice-chancellor said there have been many behavioral changes in people of all societies during the global Covid-19 pandemic across the globe.
 
"Under such circumstances, youths of the country should come forward to build a happy and prosperous Bangladesh by facing all kinds of obstacles and challenges," he added.
 
Treasurer of BRUR Professor Dr. Mojib Uddin Ahamed, Head of the Department of Political Science Md. Shariful Islam, Associate Professor Dr. Md. Tanziul Islam and Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science of Dhaka University Mohammad Aynul Islam , General Secretary of Begum Rokeya University Teachers' Association Syed Anwarul Azim attended the event.
