Over 3.43-cr Covid-19 jabs administered in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Nov 15, 2022 (BSS) – The number of administered Covid-19 jabs rose to three crore 43 lakh 71 thousand and 210 in Rangpur division with the inoculation of more 99,299 doses as the first, second and booster doses on Monday.  
  
“Among the administered Covid-19 jabs on Monday, 87,874 doses were inoculated to the students aged 5-11 years of 276 primary level educational institutions as the first doses,” said Acting Divisional Director (Health) Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman.
 
So far, a total of 13,42,864 students, including 7,37,463 male and 7,42,245 female, aged 5-11 years of 4,184 primary level educational institutions were administered with the first doses of the Covid-19 jabs in the division.
 
Till Monday, a total of 1,51,41,615 people got the first doses of Covid-19 jabs, and of them, 1,32,73,576 got the second doses and 59,56,019 as the booster doses in the division.
 
Meanwhile, the total number of Covid-19 patients remained steady at 64,948 as no fresh Covid-19 cases were diagnosed after testing 21 new samples on Monday.
      
The number of recovered Covid-19 patients remained steady at 63,621 no more patients healed during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am today in the division.
 
“Besides, the number of casualties also remained steady at 1,293 as no new death was reported during the last 24 hours,” Dr. Rahman added.
