KHULNA, Nov 9, 2022 (BSS) – State Minister for Women and Children Affair Fazilatunnesa Indira here today said the government is working tirelessly to make distressed women especially Joyeeta discrimination free.
 
“Confidence and encouragement have been created at grassroots level centering successful story of Joyeeta,” she said in a grand reception ceremony of Joyeeta 2021-22 in Khulna division at the district Shilpokola Academy as  chief guest.
 
Indira said that the initiatives of the Prime Minister are now creating a women friendly marketing network across the country.
 
The Minister said women participation are increasing rapidly in business and economy for taking women friendly development policy by the government.
 
Chaired by Khulna divisional commissioner Md Zillur Rahman Chowdhury,  the programme was addressed, among others, by the secretary of the ministry Md Hasanuzzaman Kollol, Director General of the Directorate of Women Affairs Farida Parveen, executive Director of National Women association Abeda Akter and Khulna district unit Awami League President Sheikh Harun-ur-Rashid.
