NATORE, Nov 8, 2022 (BSS) - A day long Digital Innovation Fair-2022 has begun on the premises of Naldanga upazila parishad of the district.

Local lawmaker Md. Shafiqul Islam Shimul inaugurated the fair as the chief guest this morning with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rozina Aktar in the chair.

Naldanga upazila administration organised the fair.

The chief guest said the government has taken initiatives to achieve the sustainable goals of Digital Bangladesh by 2030 and build Smart Bangladesh by 2041. The government is working to increase technology skills and connect people with technology.

"As part of the digitization campaign, we are arranging such digital innovation fair on ICT-based initiatives in the country," he added.

The fair is being showcased through four thematic pavilions - Innovation, Digital Services, Handy Services and Education & Employment.

A technology related competition has been organized for the students.
