PANCHAGARH, Nov 3, 2022 (BSS) - A day-long free eye camp was held on the premises of Green Residential Model School and College in Debiganj upazila of the district today.

Debiganj Upazila Parishad and Dinajpur Gousil Azom BNSB Eye Hospital have jointly organized the eye camp with the help of Andheri Hilfe Bonn (Germany).

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Debiganj Md. Golam Ferdous inaugurated the eye camp as the chief guest.

 Municipality Mayor Abu Bakkar Siddik, Eye camp arrangement committee member and panel chairman of upazila parishad Babul Hussein Sarker were present.

 About 500 hundred poor eye patient were given free eye treatment after examining their eye. Of them, 80 poor patients underwent cataract operation.

A total of seven doctors led by Dr Fahomida Nasmin conducted the camp.
