Dry weather likely

DHAKA, Oct 21, 2022 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted that weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today.

"Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country," said a Met Office release.

Meanwhile, the low pressure area over Andaman Sea and adjoining Southwest Bay persists and it is likely to intensify.

It said that the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 34.6 degrees Celsius at Sandwip and minimum temperature today was 17.8 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

The sun sets in the capital at 05.27pm today and rises at 05.59am tomorrow.
