DHAKA, Oct 19, 2022 (BSS) - Light rain or thunder showers accompanied by
temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna,
Barishal and Chattogram divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with
temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said
a met office forecast for the next twenty-four hours begins from 9am this
morning.

Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from Northern part of Bangladesh. Conditions
are favourable for further withdrawal of South-west monsoon from remaining
part of Bangladesh. Monsoon is weak over North Bay. A low pressure area is
likely to form over Andaman Sea and adjoining area.

Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded by 34.7 degree celsius
at Bhola and minimum temperature today was recorded by 19.3 degree celsius at
Tetulia.

Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded
by 20millimters (mm) at Mongla.
