DHAKA, Oct 13, 2022 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department today predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am.

"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind, is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy falls at isolated places over the country," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.

The highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded 34.6 degree Celsius in 
Rajshahi, while today's minimum temperature was 22.9 degree Celsius in Tetulia.

The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 56 mm in Tetulia. 

The sun sets at 6:35 pm today and rises at 5:56 am tomorrow in the capital.
