DHAKA, Sept 28, 2022 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Presidium Member Jahangir Kabir Nanak today said the Bangalee Nation was freed from the chain as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was born. 

"The Bangalee nation has been making history of glory as Sheikh Hasina was born," he told a discussion organized by Sheikh Russel Jatiyo Shishu Kishore Parishad at Osmani Memorial Auditorium marking the 76th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the chief guest. 

Nanak Said anti-liberation forces had tried to kill Sheikh Hasina as many as 19 times, but she is still working relentlessly for the country and people, he added.
 
He also said she (Sheikh Hasina) returned home ignoring all bloodshot eyes for welfare of the country and its people.
 
The country is now moving forward led by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's worthy daughter Sheikh Hasina, he added.
 
The premier is working for implementing the dream of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. 

Awami League Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim said the defeated force -- BNP-Jamaat -- has been hatching conspiracy against Awami League. "Awami League is the biggest political party of the country and the party leaders and activists is committed to the AL President Sheikh Hasina. Therefore none would be able to resist us," he observed.

He said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir wants dead body in politics. "We will not give it to happen," he said.

He also urged all to remain alert about any sort of conspiracy of the BNP-Jamaat clique. 

Sheikh Russel Jatiyo Shishu Kishore Parishad Secretary General KM Shahid Ullah presided over the discussion while AL Organizing Secretary Mirza Azam spoke in the function. 

The function was followed by a cultural event and a cake was cut.
