Light to moderate rain likely

DHAKA, Sept 21, 2022 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted
light to moderate rain accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and
lightning flashes in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours
commencing at 9am today.

"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty or
squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at a few places over
Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over
Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately
heavy falls at places over Southern part of Bangladesh," said a Met office
bulletin issued this morning.

Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly
unchanged over the country.

The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded 35.5 degrees Celsius in
Sayedpur, while today's minimum temperature was 24.5 degrees Celsius in
Rajarhat.

The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 22mm in Barishal.

The sun sets at 5:56 pm today and rises at 5:47 am tomorrow in the capital.
