BARISHAL, Sept 14, 2022 (BSS) - Convener of the National Committee on the Chittagong Hill Tracts and Awami League central leader Abul Hasnat Abdullah today said the surprising rise of Bangladesh in socio-economic sector is now globally recognized.
“Surprising uplift and advancement of Bangladesh in socio-economic sector under the dynamic and robust leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is now well recognized across the world,” he said this while addressing a special extending meeting of Barishal district Awami League at Barishal Club auditorium here.
Urging the party leaders and activists to work sincerely for taking the country ahead in line with the instructions given by the party chief, the veteran lawmaker said adding that Sheikh Hasina herself is a symbol of enormous bravery and foresight in the arena of national economy.
The meeting was also attended by presidents and general secretaries of different district, city, upazila and municipality units of Awami League, different municipal Mayors, Upazila Chairmen and Vice Chairmen and presidents and general secretaries of different front and associate bodies of the district.
