RANGPUR, Sept 13, 2022 (BSS) - Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) signed
a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman
Aviation and Aerospace University (BSMRAAU) today.
 
"The MoU was signed in a ceremony held at the syndicate room of the
administrative building of BRUR for mutual cooperation between the two
universities in the fields of higher education, training and research," said
a press release.
 
Registrar of BRUR Engineer Mohammad Alamgir Chowdhury and Registrar of
BSMRAAU Rear Admiral M Khaled Iqbal signed the MoU on behalf of their
respective institutions.

Vice-chancellor of BRUR Professor Dr. Md. Hasibur Rashid, Vice-chancellor of
BSMRAAU Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Nazrul Islam, Pro Vice-chancellor of BRUR
Professor Dr. Sarifa Salwa Dina and its Treasurer Professor Dr. Mojib Uddin
Ahmed were present.

Professor Dr. Rashid said the signing of the MoU will create opportunities
for teachers and students of the two universities to acquire skills related
to research, education and training to develop them through mutual
cooperation.

Air Vice Marshal Islam said the opportunity for research and teaching in
joint venture with the country's first specialized aviation university
BSMRAAU and BRUR will contribute to the quality improvement of both
universities in the long term.
 
Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies of BRUR Professor Dr. Md. Matiur
Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Science Professor Dr. Md. Gazi Mazharul Anwar,
Dean of the Faculty of Arts Professor Dr. Abu Saleh Mohammad Wadudur Rahman,
Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Md. Shariful Islam, Proctor Md. Golam
Rabbani, Director (In-charge) of the Office of the External Affairs Md.
Sabbir Ahmed Chowdhury, Director (In-charge) of the Office of the Student
Affairs Md. Nuruzzaman Khan and Director of the Cyber Center Dr. Md. Mizanur
Rahoman were also present.
