DHAKA, Sept 13, 2022 (BSS) - Outgoing Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswami today paid a courtesy call on Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.

During the meeting at the secretariat here, the Indian envoy praised the leadership of the AL general secretary in enhancing mutual relations with different political parties of India.

 Doraiswami expressed gratitude to the Bangladesh minister for giving advice to him and his team in speedily implementation of the ongoing projects taken under the Indian grant assistance.

Later, Quader in a statement greeted Sheikh Rehana, younger daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and younger sister of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on her 67th birthday.
