DHAKA, Sept 11, 2022 (BSS) - Light to moderate rain or thunder showers
accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes is
likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet
divisions; at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh
divisions with heavy to very heavy falls at places over southern part of the
country.

Day temperature may fall by 1-2øC and night temperature may remain nearly
unchanged over the country, said a met office weather forecast for next
twenty-four hours begins from 9am today.

The Well- Marked Low over West-central Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay moved
west-northwestwards, intensified into a Depression over coastal Odisha and
adjoining Northwest Bay and West central Bay (near Lat 19.5øN and Lon 84.5øE)
at 06 AM today (11 September 2022).

Under its influence deep convection is taking places over North Bay. The axis
of monsoon trough runs through Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, centre of the
Depression to Assam across southern part of Bangladesh. Monsoon is active
over Bangladesh and strong elsewhere over North Bay.

Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded by 36.1 degree celsius
at Rajshahi and minimum temperature today was recorded by 23.6 degree celsius
at Cox's Bazar. Highest rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am
today was recorded by 98 millimeters(mm) at Netrokona.
