DHAKA, Sept 3, 2022 (BSS) -Three people were killed in a head-on collision between a CNG-run auto-rickshaw and a pickup van on Sylhet-Jakiganj road under Golapganj upazila of Sylhet.

The deceased were identified as Lutfur Rahman, 72, his wife Jely Begum, 60, of Charkhai Union under Bianibazar Upazila and Yunus Mia, 28, of Jakiganj upazila.

Additional Police Super (ASP) of Sylhet Lutfor Rahaman confirmed the matter.

He said the accident occurred in front of Ranaping Mina Center of Sylhet-Jakiganj road at 8 am today, leaving three persons dead on the spot and one critically injured. The injured was sent to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital.
