ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, KUSHTIA, August 1, 2022 (BSS) -The authorities of the Islamic University (IU), Kushtia, today appointed Associate Professor Dr Nasir Uddin as the new Chairman of Al-Fiqh and Legal Studies department.

IU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shaikh Abdus Salam appointed him to the post for next three years, an official notification signed by acting Registrar H M Ali Hasan confirmed said.

He was appointed to the post after completing the tenure of previous chairman Anowarul Wahab, the notification added.

The newly appointed Chairman told BSS that he will work for the betterment of the department with the assistance of the teachers and the students.
