RAJSHAHI, July 31, 2022 (BSS) - State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shhariar Alam, MP, has called for turning the educational institutions into the best places of acquiring knowledge.

He also stressed the need for operating the educational institutions competently for quality development of education side by side with generating skilled and worthy manpower.

Quality education will be endured in both urban and rural areas if the academic classes are conducted by the skilled and competent teachers.
 
The state minister came up with the observation while inaugurating newly constructed academic buildings of Keshabpur School and College, Jotekadipur Madrasha and Khanpur JP School in Bagha upazila of the district Saturday as chief guest.

He also opened the newly constructed Kishorepur Sheikhpara Jame Mosque.

State Minister Shahriar Alam said multifarious steps, including building construction, digital lab, digital classroom, distribution of books free of cost, education materials and sub stipend, have been taken for expansion of quality education in each school.

He also said sufficient allocation has been proposed in the national budget for the education sector as there is no alternative to ensure qualitative education for taking the nation forward.

So, the present government under the prudent and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has attached top priority to the education sector.

Executive Engineer of the department of education engineering Amer Ali Dewan and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sharmin Akhter, among others, were present on the occasion.
