DHAKA, June 29, 2022 (BSS) - Moderately heavy to heavy rainfalls is likely to occur at places over the country as monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.

Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Dhaka, Barishal and Chattogram divisions. 

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, met office said. 

The axis of monsoon trough runs through Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across northern part of Bangladesh. One of its associated troughs extends up to Northwest Bay.
