DHAKA, June 28, 2022 (BSS) - The second death anniversary of former senior secretary of the Defence Ministry Abdullah Al Mohsin Chowdhury will be observed tomorrow.

Marking the day, doa-mahfil will be arranged at his village home at
Bijoykara under Chauddagram upazila in Cumilla district.

Abdullah Al Mohsin Chowdhury, who had been suffering from Covid-19,
breathed his last on June 29, 2020 at Combined Military Hospital (CMH)
in the city.

Later, he was laid to eternal rest at Banani Military Graveyard.

Mohsin Chowdhury, who joined Bangladesh Civil Service in 1988, was
senior secretary at the Ministry of Defence at the time of his
passing. Prior to that, he served as secretary at the Environment,
Forest and Climate Change Ministry.

Mohsin Chowdhury's father is late Ahamad Hossain Chowdhury, a language
movement veteran, and mother is Begum Tahera Hossain.

He is the younger brother of Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, an
eminent poet and former principal secretary to the Prime Minister.
