DHAKA, June 20, 2022 (BSS) – Awami League Legal Affairs Secretary Advocate Najibullah Hiru today said the Padma Bridge has became a symbol of courage and capacity of Bengali nation as it is one of the country's biggest economic achievements since the great Liberation War.

"After Liberation War, Bengali nation, under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, once again showed its capacity and courage by turning a vision out of reach into a solid reality," said Najibullah Hiru.

He was addressing a reception program, organised by Lawyer's Association of Bangladesh to give grand reception to its advisors and life member, at a restaurant in the capital.

Najibullah said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been taking Bangladesh to the milestone of development through Padma Bridge which has established uninterrupted connectivity with 21 districts.

The grand opening of the Padma bridge is being counted by the people of the country while on the other hand, the anger and dissatisfaction of conspirators are being increased, he said, adding, "The conspirators and the evil forces cannot tolerate the development anymore."

President of the Supreme Court Bar Association Momtaz Uddin Fakir, Additional Attorney General Barrister Mohammad Mehedi Hasan Chowdhury, Bar Council Member Advocate Rabiul Alam (Budu), Managing Editor of Bangladesh Sangsad Sangstha (BSS) Anisur Rahman, Supreme Court advocate Shah Manjurul Haque, Supreme Court advocate Dr Momtaj Uddin Ahmed Mehedi and Advocate Barrister Masud Hossen Dolan addressed the program, among others.

LAB president Kazi Wali Uddin Foysal presided over the program, jointly conducted by additional attorney general Md Shamim Khan and Firojul Islam.
