CHANDPUR, June 15, 2022 (BSS) - Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today said accurate statistics of education rate of the country would be found through census.

"The exact statistics of education rate would be available through the census and we would get an accurate picture of the whole country's education that how many people are illiterate, how many are educated and their socio-economic position that would be helpful in adopting various action plans," she said.

She said this while inaugurating the digital census program at her residence here as the chief guest this morning.

Deputy Commissioner Kamrul Hasan, Superintendent of Police Milon Mahmud and other leaders were present on the occasion.

In Chandpur, 104 zonal and IT officers and 6,000 supervisors and enumerators will work in the census.
