208 get job in job-fair organized by a2i, UNICEF Bangladesh

DHAKA, May 25, 2022 (BSS) - A total of 208 people got jobs through on-spot registration in the day-long job fair organized by the Access to Information (a2i) and The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Bangladesh in Rajshahi today.

The fair was held on the premises of Technical Training Center (TTC) for creating job opportunity for the employment of trained youth with the presence of Rajshahi Additional Divisional Commissioner ANM Moinul Islam as the chief guest, a press release of a2i said.

A total of 1,284 curricula vitae (CV) were submitted for various positions of 20 industries of the country participating in the job fair, the release added.

With TTC Principal SM Emdadul Haque in the chair, the fair was attended, among others, by President of Rajshahi Chamber of Commerce Masudur Rahman Rinku, Deputy General Manager of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), Rajshahi, Zafar Bayazid, Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Detective Branch (DB) Inspector Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad and a2i Program Assistant Habibur Rahman as special guests.
