DHAKA, April 13, 2022, (BSS) - The met office today predicted rain or
thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at some places across the
country in the next 24 hours as of 9am tomorrow.

"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is
likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions
and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions with
hails at isolated places," said a met office release here today.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over
the country.

However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the
country.

Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 36.2 degree Celsius at
Rajshahi and today's minimum temperature 19.8 degree Celsius was recorded at
Nikli.

The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded 97
millimetres (mm) at Rajarhat in Rangpur Division.

The sun sets at 6.19 pm today and rises at 5.39am tomorrow in the capital.
