DHAKA, April 5, 2022 (BSS) - As many as 79,339 candidates passed the MBBS
admission test of both government and private medical colleges for the
academic year 2021-2022.

"A total of 79,339 examinees passed the MBBS examination this year. Pass
percentage in the MBBS examination is 55.13," Health Minister Zahid Maleque
told a press conference in the conference room of Directorate General of
Health Services (DGHS) here.

Finally, 1,885 male students will get the opportunity of admission in the
government medical college while 2,345 female students will be allowed for
admission in the government medical colleges.

This year, 1,39,742 students appeared in the MBBS examinations.
