DHAKA, April 1, 2022 (BSS) - Awami League General Secretary and Road 
Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed deep shock at 
the death of renowned recitation artiste and general secretary of Sammilita 
Sangskritik Jote Hasan Arif.

In a condolence message, he prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul 
and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Hasan Arif passed away at the city's Bangladesh Specialised Hospital around 2 
pm today at the age of 57.

Arif had been on life support for the last few months after he was infected 
with coronavirus in December last year.
