DHAKA, March 30, 2022 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department today predicted rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind at some places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am today.

     "Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Sylhet division and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Chattogram divisions," said a met office bulletin.

     Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, it added.

     However, day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

     Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 35.5 degrees Celsius at Mongla and minimum temperature today was 20.1 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

     The sun sets at 6.13pm and rises at 5:52 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
