DHAKA, March 18, 2022 (BSS) – Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today laid emphasis on maintaining  standards of the educational institutions for the Monthly Payment Order (MPO) enlistment.

The minister was speaking at a function organized on the occasion of the 102nd birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the 11th founding anniversary of Swadhinata Sikkhok Parishad (Swaship) at Mirpur Bangla Higher Secondary School and College ground in the capital.

If the standards of the educational institution are right, then educational institutions would be brought under MPO coverage, she said.

She said if the quality of education to the previously nationalized educational institutions increases, the government will employ all its capacity in nationalization of private educational institutions.

Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury, lawmaker Ilias Uddin Mollah and National University's vice-chancellor professor Dr Mashiur Rahman were present on the occasion.
