DHAKA, Feb 25, 2022 (BSS) - President M Abdul Hamid today extended heartiest congratulation to Bangladesh national cricket team for achieving victory over visiting Afghanistan in the three-match ODI series by 2-0, keeping one match in hand.

  In a felicitation message, the head of the state greeted all concerned including the players, coach, national cricket team officials and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for beating Afghanistan.

  The home side won the first ODI (One Day International) by four wickets and the second one by 88 runs.

   "The winning spree of the Bangladesh cricket team would continue in days to come," President Hamid hoped.
