GAIBANDHA, Feb 23, 2022 (BSS) - Awami League Central Organizing Secretary

Sakhawat Hossain Shafiq said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with the support of
countrymen has turned the country into Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Father of
the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

  "The country is getting developed by defeating all evil forces with the
spirit of the Liberation War and the ideology of Awami League," he said.

   He was addressing an extended meeting of district Awami League at the hall
room of Shah Abdul Hamid Stadium of the town here this afternoon as the chief
guest.

  District Awami League arranged the meeting with its president Advocate Syed
Sams-ul Haque Hiru in the chair.

  Whip of the Jatiya Sangshad and local lawmaker Mahabub Ara Begum Gini,
engineer Monowar Hossain Chowdhury, MP, Adv. Umme Kulsum Smrity, MP and
general secretary of district Awami League Abu Bakar Siddique addressed the
meeting, among others.

 Shafiq urged the leaders and the activists in grass root level of the Awami
League to be alert and vigil against conspirators and their plots.
