DHAKA, Feb 21, 2022 (BSS) – The ruling Awami League (AL) has paid homage to the language martyrs by placing wreath at the central Shaheed Minar here on the occasion of Shaheed Dibash (Martyrs Day) and the International Mother Language Day.

A party delegation laid wreath at the central Shaheed Minar in memory of language heroes after 12 midnight last.

Presidium Members Begum Matia Chowdhury, Shahjahan Khan and Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, Joint General Secretary and Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, Joint General Secretary and Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, Office Secretary Biplob Barua, Forest and Environment Affairs Secretary Delwar Hossen and Deputy Office Secretary Sayem Khan, among the delegation members, were present.
