Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of
Ekhusey Padak-winning noted poet, former lawmaker and politician Quazi Rosy
In a condolence message, the minister said the country has lost a noted
poet and patriot. Her brave role in literature and in the trial of war
criminals will always be remembered, he added.
Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, prayed for eternal
peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
In a separate message, Information and Broadcasting Secretary Md Mokbul
Hossain also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Rosy, who was
also a former official of the Information Department.
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep

Quazi Rosy died at a city hospital in the early hours of today at the
age of 73.
