SAVAR, Feb 16, 2022 (BSS) - Jahangirnagar University (JU) Vice Chancellor
Professor Dr Farzana Islam today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the
death of legendary singer Gitashree Sandhya Mukhopadhyay.

   In a condolence message, the VC said the death of Sandhya Mukhopadhyay is
an irreparable loss to the music arena of the subcontinent.

   Dr Farzana prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep
sympathy to the bereaved family.
