DHAKA, Feb 15, 2022 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed

profound shock and sorrow at the death of legendary singer Gitashree Sandhya Mukhopadhyay.

   In a condolence message, the minister said the death of Sandhya
Mukherjee is an irreparable loss to the music world of the
subcontinent.

   Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
