DHAKA, Feb 12, 2022 (BSS) - Md Abdus Sobhan, father of Awami League

(AL) sub-committee member on forest and environment Md Ashiqur Rahman,
passed away at his Natore residence this afternoon.

   He was 95, said an AL press release here.

   Sobhan left behind his wife, four sons, a daughter and a host of
relatives and admirers to mourn his death.

   AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister
Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death
of Sobhan.

   In a condolence message, the minister prayed for eternal peace of
the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
