DHAKA, Feb 7, 2022 (BSS) – A youth was crushed to death by a Kishoreganj-bound train while crossing a railway line in capital’s Biman Bandar railway station this morning.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Abdullah (24), student of Bangladesh Homeopathic Medical College, son of Danesh Ali and a resident of Kasturipara village under Kalihati upazila of Tangail district.

Police rescued the youth in a critical condition and sent him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where the on-duty doctors declared him dead at 1 pm, Dhaka Railway stations In-charge of police outpost Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) Md Ali Akbar told BSS.

A case will be filed in this connection, said Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) of Biman Bandar Railway station Shanu Mong.
