DHAKA, Feb 2, 2022 (BSS) - President M  Abdul Hamid today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Md Abul Hashem, language veteran, noted freedom fighter and former member of Gana Parishad as well as Jatiya Sangsad (JS) from Gaforgaon constituency.

In a condolence message, the head of the state prayed for the eternal peace of Hashem and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Abul Hashem was 93 years old at the time of his death.

He was elected MP in 1980 and 1983.
