CHATTOGRAM, Feb 1, 2022 (BSS)-The 11th death anniversary of Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud’s father Alhaj Advocate Nuruchfa Talukder will be observed in Chattogram tomorrow.

Advocate Nuruchfa Talukder was one of the organizers of the Great Liberation War, President of the Greater Chattogram Bar Association and Public Prosecutor (PP) of Chattogram court.

Praying peace for the departed soul of this social worker, one of the founders of Sukhbilas High School in Rangunia, the family of the deceased has organized Quran Khatam and Milad Mahfil at Alif Mim Jame Mosque, Chattogram Court Building Jame Mosque and his residence in Rangunia next to the Information Minister’s residence in Chattogram city.  

Advocate Nuruchfa Talukder Smriti Sangsad will organize a memorial meeting at Engineer Abdul Khaleq Auditorium of Chattogram Press Club at 3 pm on Wednesday (February 2).

Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel will attend the memorial meeting as the chief guest and Mayor of Chattogram City Corporation M Rezaul Karim Chowdhury will also attend the function as special guest.

Besides, another memorial meeting organized by Rangunia Samiti in Chattogram will be observed at Nuruchchafa Talukdar Auditorium at 3 pm on Friday.
