DHAKA, Feb 1, 2022 (BSS) - Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi does not have a social media account “Facebook” of his own. 

But, various kinds of propaganda and publicity is being carried out through different Facebook accounts using the Minister’s name and pics.

Under the circumstances, Tipu cautioned those concerned who are operating such fake Facebook accounts using his name and pics. Otherwise, stern action will be taken against the responsible persons for such offense, said a ministry press release.

The release said that through such Facebook accounts, there is a possibility of tarnishing the image of the Commerce Minister while the concerned law enforcement agencies are investigating into the matter.

A general diary (GD) was filed with the Ramna Model Police Station on July 6 last year on behalf of the Commerce Minister in this regard.
