DHAKA, Jan 31, 2022 (BSS) – Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock at the death of party's national committee member and Jhenidah district unit vice-president heroic freedom fighter Nurul Islam Khan Haider.

In a condolence message, Sheikh Hasina prayed for peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to bereaved members of his family.

Heroic freedom fighter Haider died this morning at his residence at the age of 86.

He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
