RAJSHAHI, Jan 27, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded one more death in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 6am today.

   RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said the deceased was a resident of Rajshahi and died with Covid-19 infections.

   Meanwhile, ten more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 49, including 35 positive for Covid-19, at present.

   Eight other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

   On the other hand, 291 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 553 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Wednesday, showing 60.39 percent infection rate in Rajshahi, while 33.33 percent in Chapainawabganj and 9.64 percent in Joypurhat.
