PANCHAGARH, Jan 13, 2022 (BSS) - Railways Minister Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon today said Awami League is the synonym of development as visible developments are taking place everywhere in the country under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

He said these while distributing blankets, given by the Prime Minister, among the poor and distressed people at Tapriganj high school ground in Debiganj upazila here as the chief guest.
 
  Earlier, the minister blankets at Hornaraoni govt primary school ground. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Panchagarh Md, Johurul Islam presided over the function.

 The function was also addressed, among others, by Superintend of police Md, Yousuf Ali, UNO of Debiganj Prottoy Hasan, Executive Engineer , Md Sumchuzzaman and former upazila chairman and upazila Awami League general secretary Hasnat Zaman Chowdary Jarje.

The minister said the government is giving the farmers high quality agriculture inputs, including seeds and fertilizers free of cost every year.

All students are getting free text book in the first month of the year, he said, adding that the government has announced that total population will be brought under free COVID vaccination.

   The government is also giving free houses to the homeless and landless families, the minister said.
 
   Bangladesh is going ahead, but BNP-Jamaat does not want development in Bangladesh, he said and added that they are hatching conspiracy against the country.

The railways minister urged all to strengthen the hands of the Prime Minister.
