SHARIATPUR, Jan 13, 2022 (BSS) - Deputy Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Haque Shamim here today said BNP does not have any power to bring down the government through movement.

   When BNP was in power thousands of crore Taka were looted and when they were in opposition people were killed by launching arson attacks, he said while addressing a function to distribute cheques among the homeless people at Naria Shaheed Minar.

  Shamim said the people can now see the development and success of country but BNP cannot see the development activities.

  Naria Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sheikh Rashed- Uz- Zaman presided over the function. Mayor of Naria Municipality Advocate Abul Kalam Azad, secretary of Upazila Awami League Hasanuzzaman Khokan and Officer-in- Charge of Naria Police Station Aboni Shangkar were also present.

  Later, Shamim distributed corrugated sheets of relief and disaster, ministry and cheques worth Taka 6000 each of 50 homeless families in different unions and municipalities.
