MANIKGANJ Dec 31, 2022 (BSS) - Ferry movement in between Aricha -Kazirhat have been remaining suspended from midnight on Saturday for dense fog.

The ferry movement in between Aricha -Kazirhat was suspended from 11pm on Friday night and Paturia-Daulatdia from 1am on Saturday.

All the ferries were asked to remain at the ghats to avoid any untoward situation, BIWTC Paturia Ghat DGM Shah Mohammad Khaled Newaz said, adding that three ferries were stranded in the middle of the river Padma with vehicles and passengers.
