DHAKA, Dec 29, 2022 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours as of 9am tomorrow.

"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country during 24 hours till 9am tomorrow," said a BMD bulletin. 

However, moderate to thick fog may occur at some places over the country from late night to tomorrow morning, it added.

Mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Nilphamari and Chuadanga and it may continue.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 31.0 degrees Celsius at Teknaf of Chattogram division, while the minimum temperature today was 8.5 degrees Celsius at Chuadanga of Khulna division. 

The sun sets at 05.21pm today and rises at 06.40am tomorrow in the capital.
