DHAKA, Dec 21, 2022 (BSS) - Speakers at webinar today called upon the new generation to protect the country's independence being imbued with the spirit of Liberation War after knowing the true history of the liberation struggle.

They emphasized on moving ahead with a circumstantial analysis about those who looted during the Liberation War and urged all the country's people to remain alert about the conspiracies of the anti-liberation forces.

Bangladesh Open University (BOU) regional centers organized the webinar marking the Martyred Intellectuals Day and Independence Day 2022 while valiant freedom fighter Benjir Ahmed addressed it as the chief guest. 

BOU Vice-Chancellor (in charge) Professor Dr Mahbuba Nasreen, Pro-VC (administration) Professor Dr Nasim Banu, Treasurer Professor Mostafa Azad Kamal and Registrar Dr Md Shafiqul Alam spoke at the webinar as special guests with BOU Student Support Division Director Dr Anisur Rahman in the chair.

BOU Dhaka Regional Center Director Rana Hamidur Rahman gave the welcome address at the online seminar while deans, directors, teachers and officials of the university joined it.
