RAJSHAHI, Dec 21, 2022 (BSS) - Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan today said stern action will be taken if anyone tries to create anarchy in the country.

Political parties have to do politics abiding by rules and regulations as the present government is determined to ensure legitimate rights of the political parties, said the home minister while inaugurating the newly constructed office building of Ansar and VDP at Bagha Upazila as chief guest.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, MP, Adiba Anzum Mita, MP, Director General of Ansar and VDP Major General AKM Nazmul Hassan, Deputy Inspector General of Police Abdul Baten, Upazila Chairman Layeb Uddin and Superintendent of Police Masud Hossain also spoke on the occasion.

The home minister said the law and order situation is good in the country at present as the law-enforcement agencies are discharging their duties properly.

"We will take legal action against those who will try to create any anarchic situation. Those who will do politics must follow political ideology," he added.
 
He said construction of Ansar and VDP Model Bhaban in 13 upazilas is progressing aimed at making their field-level activities more dynamic and time-fitting.
