RAJSHAHI, Nov 15, 2022 (BSS) - A trial tribunal here today granted correction scopes to 26 minors in alternative ways under ten conditions instead of conviction.

The children, including a daughter child, were facing trial in 26 separate cases of minor offences related to drugs trafficking and other offences.

Judge of Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-2 Muhammad Hasanuzzaman asked the probationary officer of the department of social services to execute the order through proper monitoring.

Public Prosecutor of the tribunal Advocate Shamsunnahar Mukti told the journalists that the court has given the scopes of correction to the minors in alternative means under supervision of the probationary officer.

Terming the court order as extraordinary she said the children will get opportunities of correcting them properly besides grooming them for nation-building purposes.
