RANGPUR, Sept 25, 2022 (BSS) - Two more fresh Covid-19 cases were

diagnosed after testing 12 samples at the 16.67 percent positivity rate in
Rangpur division on Saturday.

  "With the diagnosis of the two fresh cases, the number of Covid-19 patients
rose to 64,841 in the division," Divisional Director (Health) Dr. Abu Md.
Zakirul Islam told BSS today.

 The total number of recovered Covid-19 patients remained steady at 63,232 as
no more patients healed during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am today.

 The number of casualties also remained steady at 1,289 as no new death was
reported during the period.   

 Meanwhile, more 4,871 doses of Covid-19 jabs were administered on Saturday
raising the number of inoculated vaccines to three crore 12 lakh 57 thousand
and 842 doses in the division.
 
 "Among the total administered Covid-19 jabs, 1,36,55,407 doses were
inoculated as the first doses, 1,30,52,609 as the second doses and 45,49,826
as the booster doses," Dr. Islam said.
